Congratulations to Mr. Wolfgang Peitz who passed his check ride and joined the ranks of licensed Private Pilots this week at A1 Aero Services in Punta Gorda!
Wolfgang’s accomplishment is especially remarkable due to the fact that he lives most of the year in Germany! He completed all of his training here at A1 while visiting the US on vacation. Even still, he completed the entire private pilot training in about one year’s time.
As if learning to fly while on vacation wasn’t challenge enough, Mrs. Peitz was totally unaware and was quite surprised when her husband came home and happily announced that he was now a pilot!
The photo above shows Mr. Peitz with his temporary certificate and his proud flight instructor, Pierre Cieciorko. Pierre is proud to have Wolfgang as the 5th student to pass a check ride at A1 Aero services so far in 2012!
